Whakatāne Intermediate offers the following technology subjects:
Each year students will attend approximately 10 consecutive sessions at each technology.
They will be involved in
- Establishing and developing a base line of practical skills
- Fostering teamwork and independence
- Developing safe working habits and a safety conscience
- Evaluating their own work and learning from their own experiences.
- Problem Solving and design using technology
- Acquiring knowledge and skills to take some responsibility for health and security now and in the future.
